RTW Connects with First Notice Systems’ 24x7 Claim Reporting Solution
First Notice’s ClaimCapture™ provides capacity and geographic access to RTW
Boston, MA and Minneapolis, MN — September 13, 2005 — First Notice Systems, Inc. (“FNS”), the leader in claim-reporting solutions for the insurance industry, and RTW, Inc. (“RTW”), a leading provider of products and services to effectively manage the costs associated with insured workers’ compensation programs and self-insured absence programs, announced today that FNS began providing its claim reporting solution to RTW. The FNS solution for RTW includes:
- 24 x 7 availability
- Call center redundancy
- Self-service Internet-based claims reporting capability
RTW selected FNS based on its service experience and expertise in the first notice of loss space. RTW considered first notice of loss a non-core process within its business model, and determined that the process could be better served by an organization that has a best-of-breed service offering in the claims marketplace. FNS is that partner for RTW.
Jeffrey B. Murphy, President and CEO, RTW, said, “FNS, with its service offering, is an ideal choice for RTW as we focus on creating variable capacity, adding expertise to move us into new jurisdictions, remove non-core activities from our day-to-day operations and expand reporting options for our customers. We are now able to offer our customers and agents a variety of claim reporting channels including Internet reporting, making the process efficient and streamlined, and enhancing our customers’ experience. I am very pleased to partner with FNS.”
Will Fulton, President, FNS, commented, “We are pleased to announce that RTW is now in production. Our solution provides best-in-class first notice of loss reporting and automated state filing, providing RTW with a real advantage and further enabling RTW to focus on its vision―transforming people from absent or idle to present and productive. Our ClaimCapture application automates required state filing for first report of injury and offers a scalable operational and technology solution to support RTW’s growth. We look forward to continuing our work with RTW to ensure that it takes full advantage of our services to provide its clients the absolute best claim handling service possible.”
