ClaimCapture Architecture
The design of the ClaimCapture application and its associated
databases is based on industry-defined standards of claim
reporting, ease and efficiency of use, reliability, flexibility,
availability, and security. Its architecture features include:
- three tiers, each addressing one of the tasks of graphical
representation, business logic, or data storage.
- a browser-based user interface that leverages existing
end-user hardware.
- business and application objects which reside on the
application server to maximize resource sharing and to minimize
admin/support.
- accessibility via the Innovation First Notice network, the Internet,
and a variety of dedicated connections.
- scalability by virtue of multiple application servers.
- a fault-tolerant application/database server model.
- multi-format output routing (and management).
